Specialist Business Applications & Business Intelligence (BA/BI)
With this newly created position, you will make a significant contribution to the future-oriented direction of our company. That is why we are looking for expert pioneers:
Scope of tasks
Administration of the ERP system:
- central management of the ERP system and its continuous improvement
- ensuring data integrity
Management, strategic planning and further development of the software landscape:
- centralized management of all software solutions for uniform use
- development and implementation of a long-term strategy for the software landscape, incorporating and taking into account legal, standard and customer requirements
- analysis and evaluation of the current software landscape to identify optimization potential
- evaluation and selection of suitable software solutions
- coordination of software implementation projects and upgrades
- project and change management in the course of further development and new establishment of software
Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Management:
- central responsibility for the DWH
- development and implementation of data management strategies
- responsible for the implementation and monitoring of data governance guidelines
- ensuring data availability and quality
- development and maintenance of management dashboards
- working with managers to identify relevant key figures
Strategic technology management:
- identification and implementation of new technologies with a focus on AI
- monitoring technological trends and assessing their relevance for the company
- implementation of pilot projects and tests of new technologies
Coordination, training and support:
- ensuring the harmonized and efficient use of central systems (single point of contact)
- implementation and adaptation of software solutions
- regular communication and reporting to the management
- organization and implementation of training courses for key users
- providing technical support and problem solving (2nd level support for key users)
- close cooperation with the department responsible for hardware and network
Your profile
- extensive experience or training in the field of computer science, business informatics or technical studies (e.g. data science)
- analytical thinking and strategic planning skills
- understanding of business processes
- experience with business intelligence tools
- practical experience in planning and managing projects
